Through the rivers

Across the bays

The wind is calling,

And I must obey.

The sea, it moans

As black clouds weep

Because I long for a place

That my heart will keep.

But I cannot be bound.

No, not even with chains,

For even in my dreams

I never go astray.

Because I search for a place

A love, and a home

Somewhere satisfying

A place I’ll call my own.

So I wander through green forests

Searching day and night

Into rugged valleys

Across mountains of white.

Yet I find not a place of belonging

For my infinite soul,

For it seems so long as I have a blanket of stars,

I have a place to call home.
